Shutters
Luxurious and elegant wood shutters,
whether natural-finished or painted to a satin finish, are one
of the classiest looking window coverings. Made of high quality
woods such as cedar, pine, and alder, or premium woods such as
cherry, oak and maple, wood shutters are durable and resistant
to warping. They should not, however, be installed in rooms where
the humidity runs high.
For rooms with hot tubs, swimmingpools,
or in bathrooms, new polywood shutters are the perfect choice.
When painted, they are very hard to distinguish from wood and
unlike wood, they will not chip, crack, or warp under moisture.
We offer interior and exterior shutters of wood
and vinyl. Our wood interior shutters are manufactured to fit
your windows with your selections of style and frame options.
The shutters are available in 1 ¼, 2 ½, 3 ½,
and 4 ½ inch wide louvers. The finish is your choice of
custom paint, custom stained, or a selection from several factory
finishes.
Vinyl shutters are available in 2 ½ and 3 ½ inch
wide louver. Vinyl shutters are available in only three colors,
white, almond, and ivory.
Shutter slats are available in various
sizes. The 2 1/2" width is commonly called a "California" shutter.
Wider 3 1/2" slats were favoured by plantation owners in
the Colonial South, hence the name "Plantation" Shutters.

you have to choose from are plentiful. Here are a few:
Palm Beachª
Palm Beach™ Custom Shutters combine the best
of both worlds: attractive good looks and low maintenance. This
enables you to enjoy the elegant appearance of shutters in any
interior space-without worrying about warping, fading, chipping,
or excessive wear. Palm Beach shutters come in two louver sizes
and two unique styles. Lantana™ is our patented gear-driven
model and Palmetto™ offers the classic look of a tilt bar
system. Both styles feature sleek lines, smooth operation, and
our exclusive equidistant louver spacing. In addition, Palm Beach
custom shutters are available in a variety of configurations for
the perfect look.
Three basic systems, framed or unframed, are available:
Sizes: 2 3/8" and 3 3/8". The louvers
are tapered for a clear view or to provide a tight closure.
Three Popular Color Options: White, White Silk, and Off-White
Decorative Frames: With five options in traditional or contemporary
styles, they are adaptable to almost any window requirement and
decorating theme.
Palm Beach™ shutters are also flame retardant.
